North-London-Wargames-Group

Club Convention Game

It is the year 2022, and the North London Wargames Group is hosting its annual Club Convention. This year, the convention game is a re-enactment of the Battle of Waterloo, fought between the forces of Napoleon Bonaparte and the Duke of Wellington.

The game is being played on a large table, with miniature soldiers and terrain. The players take turns moving their pieces around the board, according to the rules of the game.

At the end of the game, whoever has the most victory points is the winner.

Wargames present day has evolved significantly since the time of Waterloo. Although the same rules of engagement apply, the technology and tactics used are very different.

In the game, the player controlling Napoleon’s forces has to try and outwit the player controlling Wellington’s forces. The game is full of strategy and planning and can be quite intense at times.

Your wits, and your ability to think ahead, will be put to the test in this convention game. There is no telling who will come out on top, but one thing is for sure – it will be a battle to remember!
